Tetanus:

• Enters body through cuts/scratches/wounds or animal bites
• Symptoms: painful muscle tightening, body stiffness, difficulty swallowing

Diphtheria:

• Spread person to person from coughing/sneezing
• Symptoms: thick coating in back of throat, breathing problems, heart failure, paralysis, death

Pertussis(a.k.a. whooping cough):

• Spread person to person from coughing/sneezing
• Symptoms: severe coughing, breathing problems, vomiting, pneumonia
