Education and Awareness Campaign 



To “shatter the myths” surrounding drugs and alcohol, the McKinley Park Underage Drinking and Other Substances Prevention Coalition (McK-UDOS) participates in various public health grassroots awareness campaigns.

Below are outreach and information materials available for the public to learn more about various facts and myths related to substance use and abuse. Empowers young people to recognize and face the influence around us, including the pressure to abuse drugs and alcohol.




Resource for comprehensive research-based information on issues related to underage drinking and binge drinking among college students.




Provides information on mental illness, including substance abuse. Connects students with ways they can take action and combat the stigma.

For Parents

A free digital underage drinking prevention program for kids ages 9-13 (grades 4-7) and their parents with the goal to reduce underage drinking through communicating with kids about alcohol and the developing brain. 




Encourages parents to sign a pledge that they will be a parent, not a peer. They focus on creating a network of parents that have agreed not to serve alcohol to their children.



Teaches students about good decision making skills by bringing law enforcement officers to classrooms and homes




Focuses on ending drunk driving and preventing underage drinking.

Helps adults teach children information about the dangers of substance abuse in devastating communities.
