Alcohol Awareness Month

Updated: April 11, 2018   随着春天的到来,青春期生活中的关键活动也随之而来:毕业典礼,舞会,度假,聚会,大学录取通知书,等等,青少年们沉浸在庆祝过去的成功及迎接新的机会到来的激动和喜悦之中,蠢蠢欲动要去尝试新事物并放松身心。放学了,毕业了,孩子们辛苦了,家长此时也放松管理。然而,对于许多青少年来说,“放松” 来庆祝成人礼已成为喝酒的代名词——第一次喝醉酒,狂饮,以及在有酒精影响下驾驶。    据学校调查报告,大约有三分之一年龄在十六岁至十九岁的青少年说,他们或他们的朋友可能会在舞会上使用毒品或酒精。根据美国国家公路交通安全管理局(NHTSA)的统计,四月至六月期间,大约三分之一与酒精相关的青少年交通死亡事故发生在舞会和毕业季的高峰期。国家花在处理与未成年人饮酒相关的费用上,每年超过520亿美元。有研究表明,早期开始饮酒的学生往往在大学期间饮酒更多,因为酒精被认为是大学体验不可或缺的组成部分,学生有权不负责任地饮酒。    四月是全国酒精意识宣传月,美亚健康协会的青少年酗酒和毒品预防项目呼吁社区及家长重视青少年通过饮酒来庆祝成人礼以及酗酒的问题,以避免可能导致危险行为的恶果。    有关美亚健康协会–青少年酗酒和药物/毒品预防联盟(McK-UDOS):成立于2015年,其宗旨是通过建立社区合作关系,评估社区需求和资源,制定战略计划,宣传,教育及防止居住在芝加哥麦金利公园社区的亚裔和拉丁族裔青少年酗酒及药物/毒品滥用。    需要更多信息,请联系:Vernalynne De La Rosa [email protected]  (312) 225-8708 (English/Spanish)
