MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
Measles
Measles is a contagious disease caused by the measles virus. Symptoms include fever, cough, runny nose, pink eye, raised bluish-white spots inside mouth, rash with red spots, diarrhea, and lack of appetite.
Mumps
Mumps is a common cause of meningitis (inflammation of brain lining and spinal cord). Mumps can also lead to deafness or sterilization in men. Symptoms include swelling in salivary glands or below ears and a chipmunk-like appearance.
Rubella
Rubella is a contagious viral infection. Symptoms include red rashes, low grade fever, and swelling of glands behind ears and smaller joints.
